Real Madrid winger, Vinícius Júnior has stated that he is “calm” despite predictions that he may win this year’s Ballon d’Or award. Vinicius Jr was voted Man of the Match as Los Blancos defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 in midweek to go to the Champions League Final.

The Brazil international has stated that his primary goal is to assist Real Madrid in winning the title for the 15th time. “Everyone talks about the Ballon d’Or but I’m very calm. I want to win another Champions League with this team.

“I can do great things this season and then I have to go with Brazil [for the Copa América]. I always think about the teams first and then me.
“We were able to place the best team in the world in another final. We have 25 stars in the team, and all of us have worked hard to achieve our aim which is to go to London [for the Champions League final] and to win La Liga. We have won La Liga, we are going to London,” Vinicius Jr said.
