Carla Higgs Kompany is the wife of Vincent Kompany, a Belgian professional football manager who is currently the manager of EFL Championship club Burnley.

Kompany married his Mancunian girlfriend, Carla Higgs on June 11, 2011, and they have two sons, born in 2013 and 2015 and a daughter.
Vincent Kompany and Carla Kompany-Higgs met while both were playing for Hamburg. Carla Kompany-Higgs was born in the United Kingdom on November 30, 1983. Even before her husband joined Manchester City, she was a lifelong fan.

Outside of football, Kompany enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. He is interested in politics and earned an MBA from Manchester Business School in 2018 after several years of study. Kompany has been described as “erudite” and “eloquent.”
Kompany opened two new Good Kompany sports bars in Belgium in April 2014, one in Brussels’ Grand Place and the other in Antwerp’s Groenplaats. However, Kompany closed both bars within a year of their opening.
