Viliami Hingano Cause Of Death, Wife, Children

Viliami Hingano who was a Tonga cabinet minister died in Auckland City Hospital after seeking medical care in New Zealand on June 10, 2022.

The type of the ailment for which he was seeking treatment is currently unknown. The funeral arrangements for Mr Hingano have yet to be made public.

Because there is little information regarding his personal life, it is impossible to say whether he was married or not.

When the new government took office at the end of last year, Viliami Manuopangai Hingano was named Minister of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry.

The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that they are “deeply saddened” to announce Mr Hingano’s death.

”On behalf of the administration, Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku Siaosi Sovaleni expressed his sincere sympathy and profound condolences to the minister’s family. He described the tragedy as a “huge loss” for Tonga.

Hingano was elected to Tonga’s Legislative Assembly in 2014, but his election was contested, prompting a recount, which he won. He campaigned for higher remuneration for MPs in June 2016.
