Vanessa Redgrave was born over eight decades ago to her parents, Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson.

Michael Redgrave

Michael Redgrave was an English actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, known for appearing in films like Mourning Becomes Electra (1947), The Night My Number Came Up (1955) and Time Without Pity (1957).

He had received a nomination for the Academy Award, two BAFTA nominations, amongst others.

Michael passed away in 1985.

Rachel Kempson

Rachel Redgrave was an English actress, known for the films Deja Vu, Stealing Heaven, Out of Africa, Camille, Grand Prix, and a few others.

Rachel was a product of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She passed away in 2003.
