The wine’s label pays homage to Bure’s great-grandfather, who was invited to be the Russian Tsar’s watchmaker. Valeri’s great grandfather’s logo inspired the label used on Bure Family Wine Bottles.

During his NHL career, he played for the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues, and Dallas Stars, among others.

Bure was selected by the Canadiens in the second round, 33rd overall, in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.

He appeared in one NHL All-Star Game, in 2000. In 1999-2000, he led the Flames in scoring with 35 goals and 75 points, a season in which he and brother Pavel set an NHL record for goals by a pair of siblings with 93.
