Vaea Fifita (born 17 June 1992) is a lock or loose forward who presently competes for the Hurricanes in the Super Rugby league and for Wellington in the Mitre 10 Cup. He is a Tongan-born New Zealander who plays rugby union.

Fifita has participated in 12 international tests for New Zealand after being given his first test cap against Samoa in 2017. Leva Fifita, his older brother, is a rugby union player who competes for Tonga internationally.

Fifita spent time with former All Black number eight Murray Mexted at his international rugby academy in Palmerston North after finishing high school. This made it possible for him to travel further south and join the Wellington Axemen in 2012 to play club rugby.
