USFL Salaries: How Much Do USFL Players Make?

According to USFL News, players earn $4,500 per week that they are on the active roster. They earn $1,500 per week that they are on the practice squad and $600 per week that they are at training camp.

That would mean that over the course of a full season, which lasts 10 weeks, players who are on the active roster can expect to make at least $45,000. Players on the practice squad for an entire campaign would make $15,000.

There will be more money to be had for players on winning teams, especially those who appear in each of the games.

USFL News reported that players on the active roster or practice squad of a team will receive an additional bonus of $850 per win.

Per the bonus policy, players who are injured, suspended or otherwise inactive when the game begins will not be able to earn that incentive.

There is also a major reward for winning the USFL Championship. Players on the active roster or practice squad would earn a $10,000 paycheck for winning the title in the USFL.

As with the victory bonuses, anyone injured, suspended or inactive will not be eligible for the bonus, unless the USFL decides otherwise.

That means an active player on an undefeated, title-winning team could make up to $75,750 since they would be credited with 11 victory bonuses, 12 weeks of being on an active roster, four weeks of training camp and the championship bonus.
