University Of Ghana Stadium To Host Women’s FA Cup & Women’s Premier League Finals

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has scheduled June 8, 2024, for the grand finale of the Women’s FA Cup and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League 2023/24 season in an exhilarating doubleheader at the University of Ghana Stadium.

This highly anticipated event will feature an exciting women’s football clash as Army Ladies take on Police Ladies in an all-service teams final.

Army Ladies FC secured their spot in the Women’s FA Cup final with a 2-1 win over Epiphany Warriors at the Madina Astro Turf, while Police Ladies FC advanced by defeating Supreme Ladies FC 3-1 in the semifinals.

In addition, the final match of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League will determine the overall league champion, featuring the winners from the Northern Zone and Southern Zone.

Last season’s finale in Kumasi was a spectacular event, where Ampem Darkoa triumphed over Hasaacas Ladies 5-3 on penalties to claim the trophy at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex for the second consecutive time.
