Swiss business mogul, Ulrich Körner, was born on October 25, 1962, to his parents.

Korner sits at the helm of Asset Management at Credit Suisse.
Korner passed through the Lyceum Alpinum in Zuoz, Switzerland, and earned a Swiss school-leaving certificate, as well as the Staatliches Ludwigsgymnasium in Saarbrücken, Germany.
He proceeded to the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, for his Masters degree and PhD in business administration.
Körner didn’t stop there, as he proceeded to study Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen.

Ulrich Korner Career
Körner launched his professional career with Price Waterhouse, Zurich, where he worked as an auditor.
He also worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Zurich.
He joined Credit Suisse in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer for Switzerland, and rose through the ranks to become Chief Operating Officer in 2004.
He emerged as Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Switzerland in 2006, and served as a member of the Executive Board of the company, until he moved to UBS.
