French tennis player Ugo Humbert sustained a right leg injury, after a bad fall during a game against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, at the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.

Humbert had missed a step during the game, which led to him falling badly. His opponent and long-time friend, Fokina, immediately showed concern by rushing to help him.
“I’ve known Ugo since we were kids. I’m going to cry because I was watching him cry. It’s never easy to see a friend like this,” said Fokina during an on-court interview.
Fokina had made it to the quarter-finals in Montpellier in 2021, and is set to play against Quentin Halys in the second round in southern France.

Ugo Humbert is a professional tennis player, born on June 26, 1998, in Metz, France.

Humbert has achieved a career-high of world number 25 on the ATP singles ranking, and world number 361 on the ATP doubles ranking.

Humbert has clinched three ATP titles, and at the 2018 US Open, he won his first main-draw match by defeating Collin Altamirano at the Grand Slam singles.
He also won his first ATP 250 main-draw match at the 2018 Moselle Open.
At the 2019, Wimbledon Humbert made it to the fourth round, but was defeated by world number 1 Novak Djokovic.
Humbert currently holds seven Challenger titles.
