Tyson Pedro Parents: Meet his father John Pedro.

Tyson Pedro is an Australian mixed martial artist (MMA) who competes in the light heavyweight division.

He is the son of John Pedro. His mother’s name is not public knowledge.  Tyson Pedro’s father John Pedro, who owned King of the Cage in Australia and was one of exponent MMA and fighters fought in the first cage fight in Australia

John emigrated from California to Australia in the 1980s and helped give life to the MMA scene Down Under. He helped transform the lives of former convicts through mixed martial arts, but his proudest achievement is his resilient son, Tyson.

Tyson Pedro had to fight his father for opportunity to become pro fighter. In an interview with News Corp journalist Nick Walshaw Pedro and his father revealed that as a child, John Pedro had accidentally stabbed his son, and intentionally knocked out his teeth in sparring as a way to toughen up the youngster who is a now a UFC star.
