George Murdoch known better known as Tyrus is an American professional wrestler, cable news personality, and actor.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he attended Quartz Hill High School in Los Angeles County, California. He also attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
As a wrestler, Tyrus signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he is the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion in his first reign.
Tyrus made his debut on the main roster as Alberto Del Rio’s bodyguard. In 2012, WWE changed his gimmick to The Funkusaurus, a funk dancer accompanied by his backup dancers the Funkydactyls.
