Tyrod Taylor Parents: Meet Rodney Taylor and Trina Taylor

Tyrod Taylor is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s New York Giants (NFL).

Tyrod Taylor was born to Rodney Taylor and Trina Taylor. Tyrod Taylor’s parents, father  Rodney Taylor and mother Trina Taylor, have always supported his career.

He attended Virginia Tech and led the Hokies to the 2009 Orange Bowl as a sophomore and the 2011 Orange Bowl as a senior.

He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens and served as the backup quarterback to starting quarterback Joe Flacco, including during the Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Taylor was signed as a free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2015, taking over as starting quarterback that season and making the Pro Bowl. In 2017, he helped the Bills reach the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.
