The police officers who caused the death of the 29-year-old father were identified as Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr., and Justin Smith. They were dismissed on Saturday January 21, 2023.
The Director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation condemned the situation and expressed how sickening it was.
“What happened here does not at all reflect proper policing. This was wrong. This was criminal,” he said.
