Two Individuals Have Lost Their Lives In A Conflict Between Youth and Naval Personnel At Tema Manhean

Two people have sadly passed away in a conflict between young residents and naval officers at Tema Manhean in the Greater Accra Region.

The unfortunate event took place on the evening of Friday, April 12, 2024.

During this year’s Kplejoo festival, the youth arranged a street procession. When they reached the street in front of the Eastern Naval Command, a dispute emerged between the youth and the naval personnel on duty.

Amidst the altercation, it’s been reported that a vehicle owned by the Navy was damaged by certain individuals within the crowd.

Following this, a confrontation erupted between the youth and the naval personnel, leading to the tragic loss of two lives due to gunshot injuries.

The deceased has been transported to the Tema General Hospital Mortuary, while two individuals who sustained injuries are currently receiving medical care at the same hospital.
