Part of the LGBTQ+ criminal law excerpts was leaked on social media and it has received mixed reactions. Sam George on Twitter revealed that he has received many attacks for leading the campaign.

According to Sam George, his account was reported to Twitter by LGBTQ+ advocates. However, Twitter has sent him a message that his account was reported on grounds that do not go against their community standard.

The proposed LGBTQ+ Bill seeks to criminalize anything LGBTQ+ including advocacy. No section of the bill protects the members of the LGBTQ+ community from the physical abuse meted to them by persons who oppose their stand.
