Shoba was accused of murder, as well as conspiracy to commit murder and obstructing justice.
Pule’s body was discovered shot and hung from a tree in Durban Deep in 2020 when she was eight months pregnant.
Shoba’s residence was where she was last seen alive, just days before her death was discovered.

After turning state witness and severely implicating Shoba as the alleged mastermind, Muzikayise Malephane is serving a 20-year sentence for Pule’s murder.
It came down to a mysterious three-minute break after hearing testimony from around 13 witnesses on both sides.
This was the time when Shoba could be seen going out of his complex’s gate with a Jeep approaching them.
Pule was then seen walking to the window, but the camera abruptly jumps from 10:06 pm to 10:09 pm, leaving the court in the dark about what happened during those three minutes.
