Trevor Nelson is a single father of two children – Mali Nelson and Miles Nelson.

Mali Nelson

Mali Larrington-Nelson, aka Shy One, is a DJ and producer like her father. She got her first DJ job at age 14, at a community radio station.

So far, she has released three albums, including Where I Stand… I Will Fall, Bedknobs & Boomkicks.

Rather than follow his father’s footsteps, Miles is a lover of festivals. Miles has less information about himself on the media space.

Who Is Trevor Nelson?

Nelson is a famous DJ and host of two of BBC’s most popular music networks.

He is an award-winning DJ and promoter of RnB music across the globe.

Nelson grew up in a family of St Lucian heritage. He was schooled at the Central Foundation Boys’ Grammar School in London, and Westminster Kingsway College.

He began with a part-time job as a DJ early in life and launched his career from there. In 1985, he worked as a record importer and broadened his experience in DJ.

He later took up another job in A&R for record labels Cooltempo and EMI, and was opportuned to promote events and artistes such as D’Angelo, Mica Paris and Lynden David Hall.

At the 2010 FIFA World Cup concert, held in South Africa, Nelson appeared as the presenter for BBC 2.

Nelson has worked on numerous BBC shows such as “Holiday:you call the shots”, “Trevor Nelson’s Urban Choice”, and “The Players club” series.

So far, he has released a number of compilation albums, with The Trevor Nelson Collection, which happens to be his latest.
