In the 1970s, Horn showcased his versatility as a session musician, contributing to diverse projects before eventually establishing his own studio.

A pivotal moment in his career occurred in 1979 when he joined forces with the Buggles, resulting in the creation of the iconic hit “Video Killed the Radio Star.”

Notably, Horn received an invitation to join the progressive rock band Yes, where he assumed the role of lead singer.
