Agyapong stated on Nana Ama McBrown’s show that it is the wife’s responsibility to train and mold her husband into a better man.
Agyapong took time to elucidate what each letter stands for in MOTHER and asked wives to quit whining but take action so that they can make their homes wonderful.
She said:

“When we say mother, the M means that we maintain a home. When you are a mother, your home has to always be in order. Don’t leave things lying around. The O means you must be obedient.

“Some women don’t respect their husbands, so their children think it’s normal. T means we are teachers and trainers. As a mother, you are not to teach only your children. Teach your husbands too. Some men don’t know how to put their clothes together. Show him. Sometimes when things don’t go well, teach him because you are his mother”.
Akosua Agyapong previously married Amandzeba Nat Brew. But, their marriage could not stand the test of time, and they divorced after around eight years of marriage, just like many celebrity marriages.
One of the key reasons for their divorce, according to the ex-couple, was incompatibility.
Their marriage produced four children; three girls and one boy.
