Brooke Adams is a well-known American actress and the wife of American actor Tony Shalhoub.

The couple got married in 1992. Prior to their wedding, the couple adopted a daughter, and in 1994, they adopted a second daughter.

The couple has collaborated on several occasions. They worked together in one episode of Wings, and on BrainDead.

Brooke Adams has appeared credited as a “Special Guest Star” in five episodes of Monk—” Mr Monk and the Airplane”, “Mr Monk’s 100th Case”, “Mr Monk and the Kid”, “Mr Monk Visits a Farm”, and “Mr Monk and the Badge”.

Brooke Adams was born in New York City on February 8, 1949, to Rosalind an actress, and Robert K. Adams, a producer, actor, and former CBS vice president.

Brooke Adams starred in the romantic comedy Made-Up, written by her sister Lynne Adams and directed by her husband Tony Shalhoub, in 2002.

Brooke Adams also starred on Broadway in The Cherry Orchard, Lend Me a Tenor, Wendy Wasserstein’s The Heidi Chronicles (1990).
