The management of actor, Tony Dow, led by Frank Bilotta reported that the actor was dead after he suffered complications from liver cancer. This news hit the world and trended in seconds. Apparently, the news was false as Dow’s family heavily disputed and retorted sadly.

The management’s spokesperson who represents Frank Bilotta and Renee James issued another statement after the death was announced as a hoax.

“This morning Tony’s wife Lauren, who was very distraught, had notified us that Tony had not passed and asked us to notify all his fans. As we are sure you can understand, this had been a very trying time for her. We have since received a call from Tony’s daughter-in-law saying that while Tony is not doing well, he has not yet passed. Tony’s son Christopher and his daughter-in-law Melissa have also been by his side comforting him, and we will keep you posted on any future updates,” the statement read.
