On April 22, 1995, Antionette Payne was born in Birmingham, Alabama, in the United States. She is a forward who competes for the Super Falcons, Sevilla women’s team, and the Nigeria women’s national team in La Liga.
At the age of 18, Payne started playing football for the Duke Blue Devils Women’s Soccer team at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, in the United States.

Before relocating to the Netherlands to join the Ajax women’s squad and spending a year with the Dutch Club (2016–17), she spent three years with the team from 2013 to 2016.
2018 saw Payne complete her transfer from Ajax to Sevilla, where she quickly became a starter for the Spanish squad.
