One of the most remarkable events in Tom Walker’s career occurred during his time with the Dallas-Fort Worth Spurs in the Double-A Dixie Association.

It was a game that would be remembered in baseball history – a 15-inning no-hitter against the Albuquerque Dodgers, resulting in a 1-0 victory. What made this achievement even more astonishing was the incredible 193 pitches he threw to secure the win.

In 1972, Tom Walker’s skills earned him a spot in the MLB as he was selected by the Montreal Expos in the Rule 5 draft. This marked the beginning of his journey in the big leagues.

Over the years, his talent took him to different teams, including the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, and the California Angels.
