Tom Segura Dad Died

In January 2022, Thomas Nadeau Segura, 74, the father of stand-up comedian, Tom Segura, passed away.

Thomas was a well-known community leader in Indian River County. The comic is known for telling jokes about his dad, referring to him as unfiltered and including their banter in a lot of his comedy.

Segura’s father was a Louisville, Kentucky native and attended school at Xavier University.

He also led a Marine platoon in Vietnam before moving to Vero Beach in 1993 where he worked as a wealth manager and vice president at Merrill Lynch.

He was well-known throughout the Indian River County community and instrumental in the growth of the local hospital, now part of Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

In addition, the elder Segura also worked and chaired with several nonprofits including United Way and the Indian River Medical board.

American standup comedian, actor, podcaster and writer Tom Segura, originally of Cincinnati, Ohio, is said to be one of the biggest names in comedy.

He is best known for his Netflix specials such as Ball Hog (2020), Disgraceful (2018), Mostly Stories (2016) and Completely Normal (2014) and his two comedy podcasts Your Mom’s House and 2 Bears 1 Cave.

Segura has also appeared in Paramount Pictures feature film INSTANT FAMILY opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne.
