Kerry Fitzgerald is the wife of Tom James Fitzgerald an American former ice hockey player and the general manager and executive vice president of the New Jersey Devils.

Tom Fitzgerald is a prominent figure in the National Hockey League (NHL) known for his contributions both as a player and as a member of the management team.
Fitzgerald’s NHL journey began in 1988 when he was drafted by the New York Islanders in the first round as the 17th overall pick. He made his debut in the 1988-1989 season and played as a forward for the Islanders for several seasons.

After retiring as a player in 2006, Fitzgerald seamlessly transitioned into a management role within the NHL. He served as an assistant coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins from 2007 to 2009, contributing his extensive knowledge and experience to the team’s success. Fitzgerald then joined the front office of the Penguins, working as the Director of Player Development from 2009 to 2015. During this time, he played a vital role in player evaluations, development strategies, and scouting.
In 2015, Fitzgerald moved to the New Jersey Devils organization, taking on the role of Assistant General Manager. He was promoted to the position of General Manager for the Devils in 2020.
