Tiwa Savage, the renowned Nigerian musician, has spoken out against rumors suggesting that she does not support her fellow female artists in the music industry.

Addressing the issue for the first time, Savage responded to criticisms circulating on social media platforms.
The discussion arose following the publication of a list by Top Charts Africa, which featured Afrobeats songs by female artists across the continent.
Savage’s name appeared on the list due to her collaborations with artists such as Waje, Ayra Starr, Amaare, and Becca.

In response to the list, Savage took to the comments section, clarifying that her collaborations with female artists are not limited to those mentioned.

She emphasized that there are numerous other collaborations not included in the post, debunking the narrative that she does not support her female colleagues.
“But they always want to say Tiwa Savage does not like or support female artistes,” she wrote, “Please who has more female collabs and there is sooo many more not even listed here. Yall miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle money on my mind [sic].”
Additionally, Savage shared screenshots of various collaborations with female musicians on her Instagram story, further reinforcing her support for her fellow artists.
Notably, she teased an upcoming collaboration with Nigerian artist Simi titled ‘Men Are Crazy,’ sparking both criticism and support from fans.
