NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday, March 13 2024, that Ridley finalized a lucrative four-year contract with the Titans worth $92 million, including an impressive $50 million in guaranteed money.

The unexpected twist comes after Ridley was widely expected to rejoin the Jaguars, with speculation suggesting he would help them avoid sending a second-round pick to the Atlanta Falcons by waiting until the new league year officially began.

However, as Wednesday, March 13, 2024 progressed, it became evident that Ridley was exploring his options, with reported interest from the New England Patriots adding intrigue to his free agency journey.

Ultimately, Ridley opted to remain in the AFC South but traded in the teal and black of the Jaguars for the navy and powder blue of the Titans.

With two impressive 1,000-yard seasons already in his career, Ridley brings a formidable offensive threat to a Titans team that has been making waves with its offseason moves.

The Titans’ active offseason continued with the addition of former Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph on a one-year deal worth up to $3.62 million, according to NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo.

Additionally, veteran kicker Nick Folk joined the team on a one-year contract worth $3.755 million, with a maximum value of $4.13 million, as reported by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.
