Was Tiger Woods involved in a car crash?
Tiger Woods was involved in a single-car crash in February 2021, following which he was hospitalised in serious but stable condition and underwent emergency surgery to treat compound fractures in his right leg as well as a fractured ankle.
Woods stated in an interview with Golf Digest in November 2021 that his full-time career as a professional golfer was done, but he would continue to play “a few events per year.” He returned to the PGA Tour for the first time since the 2022 Masters after being involved in a car accident.
