Thunder Rosa, born in Tijuana, Mexico started her life’s journey in a city known for its vibrant culture.

Growing up in Tijuana, she had dreams that extended far beyond her hometown’s borders. Her aspirations were nurtured by her parents, who saw the potential for a brighter future for their daughter.

An important turning point in Thunder Rosa’s life occurred when, as a young girl in Grade 6, she and her sisters received a life-changing Christmas gift: visas to the United States.

While her parents initially stayed in Tijuana, Thunder Rosa moved to National City, California, where she lived with her aunt and two cousins.

Her parents eventually arrived in the United States. Thunder Rosa eventually graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in sociology.

Thunder Rosa’s journey in professional wrestling began at the age of 27, which some might consider late in the wrestling world.

She first appeared in World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom), Impact Wrestling (Impact), and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) in 2014.

Her work in promotions like Women of Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and the National Wrestling Alliance catapulted her to national recognition.
