Singer Erykah Badu has issued an unqualified apology to the Obama family for her misconduct after she attended the ex-president’s birthday party.

Erykah was spotted at Obama’s 60th birthday anniversary with some top-notch celebrities such as Jay Z and Beyonce. The night appeared not to go well for the musician as she issued an apology for being a terrible guest at the party.

She issued this apology on Twitter which says, “Mr and Mrs Obama, Please forgive me for being a terrible guest at such a sacred event for your family”.

It was confirmed that Erykah Badu apologized to the Obamas because she failed to oblige to the apparent, no phone rule at the party. She posted a video of herself at the celebration which led to a lot of criticisms for the lack of masks seen at the party and disregard for COVID-19 protocols.
