Teri Shields Cause of Death

American actress, Teri Shields, who was the mother of actress Brooke Shields died after suffering from dementia. She was 79 years old at the time of death.

“My mother was an enormous part of  my life and of who I am today. I loved her, laughed with her, and respected her. And although she had her share of struggles, she was my mom,” Brooke shared.

Teri was not very likeable by many, as she was heavily criticized for allowing Brooke star in adult-related commercials and movies when she was as young as 11 years old.

However, Brooke had a whole different angle to address it. She shared that her mother protected her through all that.

“How she protected me from so much of what devastating about being in the entertainment industry – the rejection, the jealousy, the being screwed over. The bubble she created around me was the biggest blessing she could have given me. The need to attack her is unnecessary.” she shared.
