Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, is a Nigerian Singer, Songwriter, and Record Producer. She was born to a Nigerian mother and a British-Nigerian father. She moved to the UK with her family not too long after her birth. However, her parents separated when she was just five years old, so, she relocated back to Nigeria.

She then gained worldwide popularity after her feature on Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ became summer song of the year and beyond. On 2nd September 2021, Drake announced her feature on his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album on a giant billboard in Lagos, Nigeria.
