Televangelist Jerry Savelle Dies At Age 77

Dr. Jerry Savelle, a renowned charismatic evangelist, pastor, and author, passed away on Monday, April 15, at the age of 77, as confirmed by his ministry, Jerry Savelle Ministries International.

Alongside his wife, Carolyn, he was a founding pastor of the Heritage of Faith Christian Center in Crowley, Texas, where his ministry was headquartered.

The announcement of his death was made by his ministry through its website and social media platforms.

Throughout his career, Savelle authored over 75 books, including popular titles such as “If Satan Can’t Steal Your Joy, He Can’t Keep Your Goods” and “Called to Battle, Destined to Win.”

He ministered in more than 3,500 churches across over 40 nations and established international offices for his ministry in the U.K., Australia, Canada, and South Africa, along with several international Bible schools.

He was widely recognized as the host of “Adventures in Faith,” the Jerry Savelle Ministries television broadcast, which reached viewers in 200 countries worldwide.

Moreover, Savelle founded Chariots of Light, an evangelistic Christian bikers outreach with chapters in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and South Africa.

Savelle is survived by his wife, two daughters – Jerriann Savelle and Terri Savelle Foy – as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Details regarding a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
