Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away at age 23 from cancer. His death comes nearly a year after he announced his cancer diagnosis.

Technoblade’s death was announced by his father via a YouTube video titled “so long nerds” on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
In the highly emotional video, Technoblade’s father read a farewell message from his late son;
“Hello everyone, Technoblade here.
“If you’re watching this. I am dead.
“Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time as those were the happiest years of my life.”
Technoblade’s father also revealed that his late son wrote his farewell message to his fans approximately eight hours before passing on.
In the video, Technoblade, who has kept his real name a secret revealed that he is called Alex.
