About Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta
Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta is a versatile rugby player who plays as a lock, flanker, number 8 for Tasman Mako and the Fijian Drua in Super Rugby.
The Te Araroa native began his early career playing as number 8 for St. Kentigern College, the Hurricanes U18, and the New Zealand Maori Development U18 Team.

Ahiwaru made his international debut with Fiji national rugby union team, Fiji7 in 2022.
He also made his senior career debut with Tasman in 2017, and made 39 appearances, scoring 25 points.
Ahiwaru represented the team in Bunnings NPC, the Mitre 10 Cup, and helping them win their second premiership title in a row.
In 2022, he began playing for Fijian Drua during Super Rugby Pacific season, and made his Super Rugby debut against the Waratahs.
So far, Ahiwaru has appeared in 21 games and scored 10 points for the team.
