Taryn Tkachuk is the sister of Matthew Tkachuk, an American professional ice hockey winger who currently serves as an alternate captain for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Taryn was born on November 1, 2002 and is the youngest of her parents children. Taryn’s parents are Keith Tkachuk and Chantal and her siblings are Matthew and Brady.
Taryn was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
She grew up with her two brothers, both in the NHL. Taryn is pursuing her path at field hockey, and her brothers and father are especially supportive of her.
She led high school players in Missouri in total points and goals all four years. She is also a three-time Missouri State Champion with Villa Duchesne.
Taryn graduated from Villa Duchess and Oak high school in 2020.
