Tanner Hoang went missing and was later found dead in Austin after a massive search for him. The student was reportedly found dead near the Pennybacker Bridge not far from where his car was recovered according to a post on Facebook dedicated to finding Tanner.

Tanner was last seen outside an apartment off campus on December 16 at around 8 am before he went missing. Tanner was in town for graduation and grew concerned when he didn’t show up a lunch ahead of the ceremony.
His family was in town on Friday to attend the graduation ceremony and were shocked to find out that he did not make the requirements. The University confirmed that he was not set to take part in the commencement ceremony.
