British-American fashion designer, Tan France’s parents’ identities are not known, however, it is very well known that he was born to Pakistani parents in England.

He shared in his memoir that he was born in a Muslim family.
“Our home wasn’t super religious but we had a profound connection to our Muslim heritage,” he said.
Born on April 20, 2023, Tan France began a career in fashion at a very young age, taking inspiration from his grandparents. As he grows older, he started working for several popular brands including Zara, Selfridges, and Bershka.

He started designing menswear and later transitioned into womenswear over the years. In 2008, he moved to the United States. A couple of years after he settled in America, he became Shade Clothing’s company director before he opened his own company in 2011 called Kingdom & State.
France became the co-founder and fashion designer, as well as the CEO of the Rachel Parcell Inc clothing line which was sold at Nordstrom in 2016. He officially retired to focus on his family.
