Mexican television presenter, Talina Fernández has been reported dead. According to sources, she died on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in a hospital in Polanco, Mexico City. She was 78.

In February 2017, she stated that a new, inoperable tumor has been detected in her head.
Born on August 2, 1944, Talina Fernández began her career as an actress in 1972, with a special appearance on the telenovela Las Gemelas. She was a guest star on another television Caras y gestos.

She hosted several top shows including the Academy Awards, beauty pageants, and sports programs. She also produced numerous television programs including Vi, video y Venci, Gena video, ¿Qué crees?, Nuestra Casa, Hasta en las mejores familias, and Hoy.
Fernández was a presenter of the Teleton broadcasts in 1997, 2000, 2001, and 2002. She also participated in and contributed to other programs including Bailando por la boda de tus suenos in 2006, Big Brother VIP: Mexico in 2004, 100 mexicanos dijeron in 2005, and 2007 Premios TVyNovelas.
She appeared on Hoy in the segment “Te voy a contar una historia” (I am going to tell you a story).
