Famous narrator Takahiro Sakurai is married to a former voice actress, whose name is unknown.

The duo have been together for almost 20 years, unknown to the public.

However, a report coming from weekly magazine, Shukan Bunshun, in 2022, revealed that Sakurai had been cheating on his legal wife.

His mistress happens to be a writer from his radio show, P.S. Genki Desu: Takahiro.

They have reportedly been dating for ten years with the intention of tying the knots.

Who Is Takahiro Sakurai?

Takahiro Sakurai is a popular narrator, voice actor and radio presenter, who hails from Okazaki, Aichi, Japan.

Born on June 13, 1974, Sakurai attended the Yoyogi Animation Academy in Nagoya and 81 Acting Institute.

He launched his anime career in 1996 by voicing the TV animation series Bakusō Kyōdai Let’s & Go!!.

After then, he got roles to voice Digimon Adventure and Sensual Phrase, and sang his first character song in Gate Keepers.

Sakurai is well known to voice animated heroes and villains in the animations Final Fantasy VII, Code Geass, Mega Man X, Le Chevalier D’Eon, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.

He is the voice behind Miyuki Kazuya in Ace of Diamondb and happenels to be affiliated with INTENTION.

Sakurai has served as anchor on the radio show “Cherry Bell Co., Ltd”.

Sakurai has won several awards such as the “Male Character Voice Award” at Famitsu Awards 2010, and the “Overseas Fan’s Award” at the 6th Seiyu Awards.
