Swedish rapper C.Gambino, born Karar Ramadan, tragically lost his life in a car ambush in Gothenburg at the age of 26.

The incident occurred last night when the award-winning artist was parked in Gothenburg and was shot twice.

He was found with a gunshot wound and rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Swedish Police confirmed the fatal shooting and have initiated an investigation into the matter. As of now, no arrests have been made.

C.Gambino, known for hits like “Automatic” and “Svar,” boasted nearly one million monthly listeners on Spotify. Just last month, he was honored with a Grammi, the Swedish equivalent of a Grammy, for his outstanding work in the music industry.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a car speeding away from the scene, and bullet holes were visible in a nearby glass door. Authorities are actively gathering witness information and conducting a technical investigation into the incident.

Fans and fellow artists have taken to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to C.Gambino’s legacy.

The rapper had risen to prominence in the Swedish music scene, earning critical acclaim with albums like “Sin City” and “In Memory of Some Stand Up Guys,” which reached the top of the charts.
