Suzan Price: Meet Noddy Holder’s second wife

Neville John “Noddy” Holder is an English musician and actor who was born on June 15, 1946. He played rhythm guitar and lead vocals for the English band Slade, one of the biggest acts in the UK in the 1970s.

In 1973, Merry Christmas Everybody became their biggest hit. It had the catchy chorus, “So here it is, Merry Christmas, Everybody’s having fun.” In 1992, Holder quit Slade after 25 years to pursue a career in radio and television.

In 2000, the singer received an MBE for services to the entertainment industry. He received the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters’ Gold Badge of Merit in 2001. He frequently made cameo appearances on television in addition to hosting his own radio programmes.

Suzan Holder, the former lead singer for Slade who is now an author for Loose Women, has been with him for 32 years.
Their son, Django, was born in 2004, the year they got married.
Holder received the MBE in the 2000 awards list for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He received the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters’ Gold Badge of Merit in 2001.
