The National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles utilize Sua Opeta at guard. Prior to being signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2019, he played collegiate football for Weber State. He took part in both the offensive and defense during the contest at Stansbury Park High School.

Opeta played for the Weber State Wildcats for five seasons, redshirting as a true freshman. He played defensive lineman as a redshirt freshman before switching to the offensive line the following offseason after being assured of a starting position. Opeta was an honorable mention All-Conference performer in his debut season as an offensive tackle. Opeta received two FCS All-American designations. He was selected for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
