Tributes have been pouring in after his death was announced.

“I was very sad to hear the passing of Stu Silver. If you know, you know. If you don’t, look him up on Google. He was fascinating, intriguing, very funny, damn good crooner, and teacher. The first person to tell me I had a wonderful voice when I sang in my voice, stop trying to sound like everyone else. Although I’ve not seen him since the old Flipside days, he absolutely left an indelible mark in my past,” Mark Lembcke shared.
