Stranger Things 4: Did Max and Lucas break up?

Unfortunately, Lucas and Max broke up in Stranger Things Season 4 part 1. Due to her grief over Billy, Max has all but isolated herself, though she’s still close with her friends.

It doesn’t also help that after becoming super close to Eleven in season 3, she’s lost her best friend too.

Meanwhile, Lucas has also seemed to become attached to a new crowd in their freshman year of high school. He no longer plays D&D with Mike and Dustin, who now play with Eddie in The Hellfire Club, since he joined the basketball team.

Instead, Lucas hangs with the jocks.

Even though Lucas and Max broke up, the couple did have a little moment together in Stranger Things season 4 part 1, which hopefully means that viewers could see them get back together in the season 5.
