In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Stonebwoy explained that his lack of response to King Promise’s congratulatory message on social media was not intentional.
He clarified that he often overlooks many congratulatory messages, and King Promise’s was no exception.
“Yes, King Promise congratulated me, and I saw it, but I haven’t responded. I just happened to see it and didn’t think to reply,” Stonebwoy said.

He urged fans and the public not to misinterpret the situation, affirming that there is no bad blood between him and King Promise. “It’s important not to read too much into it. We are like brothers in the industry,” he added.
Stonebwoy reminisced about his support for King Promise’s career, mentioning, “He is one of our junior brothers in the industry. When he released ‘Hey Sexy,’ I remember I was traveling, and I made time to shoot the video with him.”
Addressing potential rumors, Stonebwoy cautioned against creating false narratives about their relationship. “I don’t believe there’s any personal issue between us. We don’t play games, so I don’t want anyone to start fabricating stories. If anyone chooses to do so, they will have to deal with it, but I won’t engage in it,” he affirmed.
