Steven Tyler Parents: Meet Victor A. Tallarico, Susan Blancha

Steven Tyler, is an American singer, who was born in New York City. Steven Tyler, is the son of secretary Susan Ray and classical musician and pianist Victor A. Tallarico, who taught music at Cardinal Spellman High School in The Bronx.

Tyler’s father was Italian and German, and his mother was Ukrainian, English, and African-American.

His maternal grandfather was Ukrainian, and he changed his surname from “Czarnyszewicz” (from Polish: czarny, lit. ‘black’) to “Blancha” (possibly from French: blanche, lit. ‘white’).

Steven Tyler is best known as a founding member and lead singer of Aerosmith, one of the most successful bands of all time.

Tyler has had several solo projects since the late 1980s, including collaborations with Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Santana, Pink, and Keith Anderson.

In 2016, Tyler released his debut solo album, We’re All Somebody from Somewhere, a country rock album that included the single “Love Is Your Name”.

Tyler was named one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers. He was ranked third among the Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time by Hit Parader.
