Stephen Rodger Waugh AO is an Australian former international cricketer.

He captained the Australian Test cricket team from 1999 to 2004, and led the team to fifteen of their record sixteen consecutive Test wins, and to victory in the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Waugh is recognised as the most successful Test captain in history with 41 victories and a winning ratio of 72%.
