Stephanie and her then-husband tied the knot in 1997 together they share three children, two daughters, and a son. Their names are Taylor, Ashley, and Brady.
In April 2015, it was reported that Sarkisian and his wife filed for divorce, and later they finally divorced in 2016.

He played college football as a quarterback at Brigham Young University (BYU) and professionally with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Sarkisian served as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) from 2017 to 2018 and at the University of Alabama from 2019 to 2020.
He is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin, a position he has held since January 2021.
